DIY Award 2021 - Supporting your local build

We are offering a $2,500 award for your DIY project. Applications are now open!

Last year, we started the first edition of our DIY awards which help motivated groups of skaters build skate spots in their communities. A $1,500 cash prize was granted to La Femina, a female build collective from Bogotá, Colombia, to turn an abandoned space under a bridge into a safe neighborhood skate plaza. A second $500 cash prize went to a crew of skaters in Accra, Ghana, which they used to add obstacles to their DIY spot under a bridge. For this year's award we've increased the prize and will give $2,500 to a worthy cause!
